Course Conditions (10.22.2020)

Last evening and into this morning we received an additional .8" of precipitation which will raise of total rainfall over the past 36 hours to 4.5".  We did have some light flood damage in the way of a few trees along creek banks and erosion around spillways and culverts.  We will begin the cleanup process today that will take time to complete.  We do ask that play remain on the Devlin Course so that we can continue to work through debris on the Weiskopf Course.

We will restrict all cart traffic to cart paths only, no exceptions.  Please do not pass other carts on the turf; with the excessive wet conditions of the courses this will cause unnecessary damage to turf.

We are presently experiencing rain showers that will taper off throughout the day, partly cloudy conditions later in the day with temperatures in the low 70s, light and variable winds.

One issue that can occur with flooding is silt being deposited on turf as the waters recede, we fought this on #7 green on the Devlin Course last season.  We did not have that happen to #7 during this rain event however we are monitoring the fairway on #4 of the Weiskopf Course.
