Course Conditions (10.21.2020) UPDATE

10am:  We will be forced to keep both courses closed throughout the day as we allow the flooding to recede.  It appears as though we have some slight damage but nothing catastrophic.

8:30am:  3.5”

6:30am:

We have received 3” of precipitation thus far, we will continue to update this group and the blog with any damage and/or flooding.

Both courses and the ranges are closed until weather improves.

Today’s forecast calls for thunderstorms early than cloudy this afternoon, winds out of the southwest at 10-15 mph, temperatures in the mid/upper 60s.

We will continue to update this site with daily course conditions as well as pertinent information regarding the 2020 season and upcoming projects to ensure that the 2021 season is successful.

We have heard our membership discuss the collars around greens and the inconsistency in turf types.  This is an issue that develops over time with the bentgrass greens spreading into the rough and the ryegrass rough moving into the collar.  In order to combat this we first chemically removed the unwanted grass and have begun the process of introducing seed to strengthen these areas.  In addition to seeding the collars with bentgrass, we also expanded our fall aerification to include collars and approaches.
