Course Conditions (9.30.2020)

Today we will be preparing the Weiskopf Course for member play and we will continue our fall aerification processes on the Devlin Course.  Last evening we successfully applied over 40 tons on sand to all Devlin Greens.  We will allow carts to leave paths however there are still a few wet areas and we ask members to exercise caution.  Please keep all cart traffic away from greens and tees.

The practice range tee and the clubhouse and cart barn greens are open; we ask that members stay off of the hotel and chipping greens as we continue to improve those areas.

Today's forecast calls for temperatures in the mid 60s, becoming windy with showers likely this afternoon; winds out of the southwest at 20-30 mph.

Course Conditions (9.29.2020)

Last evening we received 1.5" of precipitation, this amount of rain will cause us to restrict all carts to paths only.  We will continue to monitor course conditions and make changes when applicable.

Today we will be preparing the Weiskopf Course for member play and the Devlin Course for division II high school sectionals.  We will continue with our aerification process following the high school outing.

Course Conditions (9.28.2020)

There will not be a change in either start times or in cart rules as we continue to experience mild temperatures and dry conditions.  We do continue to remind golfers to keep cart traffic away from greens and tees.

Ranges and practice areas are open, however we will be performing our range maintenance beginning at noon; this includes but is not limited to the aerifying of two practice areas.

We will begin our aerifying processes today on out of the way areas throughout the property; namely the chipping green, the practice green near the hotel, and select back tees all on the Devlin Course.

Today's forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds becoming increasingly cloudy with showers developing this afternoon.  Temperatures will approach the upper 70s and winds out of the south at 10-15 mph.

We have been fortunate as our overnight temperatures remained in the 40s overnight so there will not be a delay in play.  We will be preparing the Devlin Course for member play as we prepare the Weiskopf Course for the MGA's Player of the Year Tournament.  As we continue to enjoy the stretch of dry weather we will continue to allow carts off of paths on both courses and ask that all traffic keep clear of greens and tees.

Upcoming Weather

We are monitoring the weather for the next couple days due to forecasts calling for low temperatures that could be conducive to frost.  We will monitor conditions and update this site beginning tomorrow morning in the event of a delay in play.

Yesterday we received .4" of precipitation, we have dried down since that event and will be able to allow carts off of paths.  We do ask that all cart traffic stay away from tee boxes and greens.  As is always the case, there should not be any cart traffic on any of the par 3s and #6 on the Weiskopf Course.

UPDATE: 9:00am - Effective immediately, we will be cart path only.  We will remain with carts off paths today with the usual exceptions of all par 3’s and #6 Weiskopf. Please keep all traffic in the fairways as much as possible and avoid green and tee banks. The range should be set as turf at the cart barn and mats at the hotel.  The weather for today calls for a chance of precipitation this morning turning partly cloudy late afternoon with highs in the low 70’s.  James Dobbins

Today we will be preparing the Weiskopf Course for member play and the Devlin Course for Day 1 of our Senior Club Championship.  We will continue to allow carts off of paths and continue to ask that carts travel in fairways as much as possible.
