Course Conditions (5.31.19)

Yesterday evening we received an additional .5" of precipitation, we will remain cart path only, no blue flags, to begin the day and re-evaluate this afternoon.  Both courses are extremely wet however we are hopeful that with the forecast today that we will have some drying conditions.

We ask that members and guests keep carts on paths during this wet cycle that we are experiencing.  

Today's forecast calls for sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, winds out of the west at 5-10 mph.

Course Condition (5.30.19) UPDATE

UPDATE:
As of 8:45am we will change cart restrictions to Cart Path Only, no blue flags.

We will begin the day allowing carts to cross at 90 degrees on both courses, we will re-evaluate in the event of measurable precipitation.  We ask that members and guests continue to use the enter/exit posts on both golf courses.

Yesterday we began the process of laying sod throughout both courses; we will continue this process today.  We do ask that golfers not drive on these areas which will be staked off.

Today's forecast calls for a high likelihood of precipitation beginning later this morning and through this afternoon (80%), with mostly cloudy skies and a high temperature in the low 70s, winds out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

Course Conditions (5.29.19)

Last evening we received .4" of precipitation, we will be forced to keep carts on paths, no blue flags, throughout both courses; we will re-evaluate conditions throughout the day.  Since Sunday we have recorded .9" of rain.  

Today this department will be working on laying sod on both courses.

The forecast today calls for temps in the low to mid 70s, winds out of the north at 5-10 mph with partly sunny skies.  There is a 60% chance of rain later in the day.

Course Conditions (5.28.19)

Last evening we received an additional .2" of precipitation, this amount of rain will not change our cart rules and we will continue to allow carts to cross fairways at 90 degrees with the only exceptions remaining all par 3s and #s 4 & 6 Weiskopf.

We will be performing our range maintenance beginning at 12 pm and will open it up as soon as we are complete.

Today's forecast calls for temps in the mid 70s, partly cloudy skies and winds out of the west at 15-20 mph.  There is a 50% chance of pop-up thunderstorms throughout the day.

As a reminder:  the divot bottles on the member carts are to only be used on tees and fairways.

Course Conditions (5.27.19)

Yesterday afternoon and into the evening we received .3" of precipitation.  With the overall drying conditions of the course beforehand we will not change cart restrictions throughout the courses.  Carts can cross fairways at 90 degrees with the usual exceptions; there are soft areas on both courses and we ask that members and guest are reminded to use caution.

Reminder to golfers to keep cart traffic away from greens.

It is imperative that members not tee off early today as we are trying to prepare both courses ahead of a very busy week.

Today's forecast calls for temperatures in the upper 60s-low 70s, partly cloudy skies and winds out of the north at 5-10 mph.  There is a very low risk of precipitation during the day; however there is a strong likelihood of rain developing this evening and through tomorrow morning (90%)

Course Conditions (5.25.19)


Last evening and into this morning we received .15" of precipitation.  This amount of rain will not cause us to change cart rules and we will continue to allow carts to cross fairways at 90 degrees on both courses, same exceptions apply (all par3s and 4 & 6 Weiskopf).  

We ask that members and guests utilize the enter/exit posts on both courses.

We will be preparing the Weiskopf Course for an 8:30 am shotgun for the MGA's The Quail Tournament, and the Devlin Course for member play.

Today's forecast calls a chance of thunderstorms throughout the day with the probability increasing this afternoon, winds will be out of the southwest at 10-15 mph and the high temperature will be in the low to mid 80s.  Some storms may be severe.

Course Conditions (5.24.19)

Yesterday we received .25" of precipitation from a quick moving thunderstorm.  Thanks to the speed of the storm and the winds afterwards we will allow carts to cross at 90 degrees on both courses, the only exceptions will remain all par 3s and 4 & 6 on Weiskopf.  

As a reminder: divot mix bottles on the carts are for tees and fairways only, not in the rough.

Today's forecast calls for cooler temps than yesterday, the high temperature will be in the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies, winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.  There is a slight chance of rain throughout this weekend.

We received .25" of precipitation this morning in a relatively short time, we are currently cart path only however we will reassess this restriction at 12pm.

Course Conditions (5.23.19) and Update

We will continue to allow carts to cross fairways at 90 degrees on both courses.

We dodged any measurable rain yesterday afternoon, however there is a greater chance for thunderstorms later this morning and into this afternoon (80%), again; some storms may be severe.

Ranges will be set up on mats at the cart barn and on turf at the hotel.

CART PATHS UPDATE:
We have been working with our contractor on beginning the process of repairing our cart paths, the consistently wet conditions that we have been experiencing has slowed this project.  The problem arises if the ground beneath and around the paths is wet we will have "settling" which will damage the freshly repaired area.  We are moving forward with this project as soon as the conditions improve.

As a side note:  yesterday we planted 466 of our seasonal flowers that add color to our two great golf courses.

Course Conditions (5.18.19)

We will continue to allow carts to cross at 90 degrees on both courses.  The same exceptions are in place: all par 3s and 4 & 6 Weiskopf.  
We are expecting rain later this morning, in the event that we receive measurable precipitation we will return to cart path only, no blue flags.
We have begun to mark and grow out our tall grass areas throughout both courses, please avoid driving in areas such as left of the cart path on #17 Weiskopf and in between #4 Green Devlin and #5 Tee Devlin.
Today's forecast calls for warmer temperatures, lower to mid 70s, however there is a strong likelihood of measurable precipitation, winds will be light.

Course Conditions (5.17.19)

Last evening we avoided significant rain, which stayed to our south, and we will allow carts off of paths today.  There are still numerous wet areas throughout the property and I ask that members and their guests use extreme caution.

With the change to cart path restrictions it is worth remembering to utilize the enter/exit posts throughout both courses and that there is to be no cart traffic on all par 3s and #s 4 & 6 on Weiskopf.

Today's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, temperatures are to drop throughout the day to the mid 50s, and then again to the upper 40s overnight.

Last evening and into this morning we received .4" of precipitation.  With the already wet conditioning of both courses we will be forced to continue to be cart path only, no blue flags.  Since Friday morning we have had 1.3" of rain.  We will keep the driving range closed until conditions improve.

Good morning and Happy Mothers Day,
Today we will remain cart path only, no blue flags.  We received .3" of precipitation overnight with a high probability of more rain throughout the morning.
The driving range will be closed to begin the day.
The forecast for today calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high temperature in the mid-50s, winds out of the east at 5-10 mph.  There is a strong likelihood for precipitation tonight (80%).
Both courses are still very wet, however James, Frank and the rest of the crew have worked tirelessly to ensure that playing conditions have not dropped off.

Today we will continue to be cart path only, no blue flags, due to the soft conditions of both golf courses.  The range will be open.

Today's forecast calls for much cooler temperatures with a high of 55 degrees, cloudy skies and winds out of the north at 5-10 mph.  There is a strong likelihood of precipitation tomorrow and into Monday.

We ask that members, guest, and staff use caution around cart path edges as we are beginning to see a bit of damage as carts attempt to pass each other while on the courses.

Good morning,
Today we will start the day as cart path only, no blue flags.  We are still extremely wet on both courses and are hopeful to have some drying done before the next round of rain.  

Today's forecast calls for temperatures approaching 80 degrees with winds out of the south at 15-20 mph.  There is a 30% chance of thunderstorms beginning this afternoon.

The chipping green, west of the upper driving range tee, has been manicured and is open for practice.
