Even though air temperatures may approach the upper 40s today we will keep the courses closed due to frozen ground temps and snow coverage.  Spring is around the corner!

Course Conditions (2.24.2021)

As much as we are truly enjoying this warm-up, especially after the past few weeks of freezing temperatures; we will need a pretty good run of warm weather to allow golf on either course.  As is always the case; we will continue to update the membership and staff of changes to course conditioning and have both courses ready when available.

Course Conditions (2.19.2021)

We have made a little progress with our goal to have frozen greens!  Since our last post on 2.11.2021 we now have .5"-1.5" of frozen turf throughout the property.  The temperature of the soil at 2" is still hovering around the 34 degree mark.  

Let me also take this opportunity to ask members that own their own "golf carts", please do not attempt to drive on the snow covered courses.  It's incredibly dangerous to individuals due to icy conditions and can severely damage the underlying turf.

Winter Storm Warning (UPDATE)

2.16.2021

We have plowed and salted around the clubhouse and the cart barn; please USE CAUTION as the salt will take extra time to work with the temperatures remaining in the upper teens/low 20s.

Please be reminded that we are currently under a Winter Storm Warning until 1pm Tuesday afternoon.  We are forecasted to experience snow accumulations of 8"-12", temperatures will remain in the low 20s as highs and single digit lows.  Please use caution as you travel around the club and be aware of staff as they move snow.

Course Conditions (2.11.2021)

Good morning,

Earlier today we took a ride throughout both courses and found that neither course had frozen greens.  This is not necessarily surprising due to the fact that we have had consistent snow coverage throughout this stretch of cold weather.  We are hopeful that we may still experience some freezing as this cold weather is scheduled to stay with us through next week and current greens soil temps are roughly 33-34 degrees.

Winter Weather Alert

Beginning Tuesday at 1am and lasting through the morning hours we will be experiencing a winter weather advisory.  Conditions will be conducive to freezing rain and snow.  Please exercise caution.

Course Conditions (1.15.2021)

Beginning at 11am we will allow walking on the Devlin Course to the temporary greens only.  There is some light work being done to the regulation greens so please excuse our equipment.

We will continue to monitor weather and course conditions and give our membership what we can/when we can.

Today’s forecast calls for temps in the low to mid 40s, light and variable winds; there is an increased chance of snow moving through this weekend.
