Course Conditions (7.8.2020)

We are slowly approaching two weeks without any measurable precipitation and increasingly warm temperatures.  There will not be a change in the cart path rules or in any start time as we prepare both courses for member play.  It is worth noting that during this weather pattern cart traffic is even more evident, as are cart tracks where there shouldn't be, especially in tee chutes and green complexes.

We have been asked why there are no longer enter/exit posts on either golf course.  It is our philosophy that members will scatter their carts naturally and that posts force a majority of carts to one specific area.  We are very happy with the results thus far.

Ranges and practice greens are open and we ask that members and their guests exercise social distancing.

Today's forecast calls for another day of sunny skies, light and variable winds, with temperatures in the upper 80s/low 90s.

Course Conditions (7.6.2020)

There will not be a delay in play nor will there be a change in cart rules as we continue with our warm and dry conditions.  We will be preparing the Weiskopf Course for member play and the Devlin Course for the Leadership Lake County shotgun.

We will be performing our range maintenance this afternoon and will immediately reopen when we have completed our processes.

Today's forecast calls for temperatures in the upper 80s with sunny skies and light and variable winds.

We will vent and topdress select areas of the golf courses to help us through this weather pattern that we are currently experiencing.  We will start with #5 on the Weiskopf Course and continue to update this site with other areas that we work with.

Course Conditions (7.5.2020)

As we enter into our second week without any precipitation (last rain event was 6/26-27), there will be no changes to cart rules or start times.  We do remind all golfers and their guests to please stay away from tee boxes and greens and do not drive on any par 3 or #6 Weiskopf.

Ranges and putting greens are open and we ask that golfers practice social distancing.

Today's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 80s, winds will be out of the north at 5-10 mph.

Please remember to stay hydrated.

We will be using our American flag pin flags on both courses this weekend.  As is always the case the American flag should not touch the ground so we ask that golfers not touch the flag stick or remove it from the cup.

Course Conditions (7.4.2020)

Happy Independence Day,

We will continue to allow carts off of cart paths and we continue to enjoy an extended warm and dry weather system.  We do ask that carts stay away from all tees and greens, remain on paths on all par 3s and #6 Weiskopf.

Ranges and practice greens are open and we require members and their guests to exercise social distancing.

Today's forecast calls for temperatures in the low/mid 80s, mostly sunny skies, with winds out of the north at 5-10 mph.

Last evening we had an electrical fault at our irrigation pump station that controls water for both golf courses.  This resulted in us loosing the ability to run water from midnight through 5am.  You may see irrigation heads running this morning as we play "catch-up" on what was lost last night.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please remember to stay hydrated.

We will be using our American flag pin flags on both courses this weekend.  As is always the case the American flag should not touch the ground so we ask that golfers not touch the flag stick or remove it from the cup.

Today we will be preparing both courses for member play as we begin to observe the Independence Day holiday weekend.  There will be no change to either the cart path rules or to start times as we continue with our warm and dry weather.  We do ask that members and their guests keep cart traffic away from tees and greens and remain on paths for all par 3s and #6 on the Weiskopf Course.

Ranges and practice greens are open and we ask that golfers practice social distancing.

Today's forecast calls for sunny skies, winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph, and temperatures in the mid/upper 80s.

We will be using our American Flag pin flags on both courses beginning today.  As is always the case the American flag should not touch the ground so we ask that golfers not touch the flag stick or remove it from the cup.

Course Conditions (7.2.2020)

This morning we will prepare both courses for member play as well as the Weiskopf Course for the 2nd day of the QHCC/Treesdale Golf & Country Club's match.  There will not be a change in cart rules or tee times.  We are continually observing cart traffic immediately next to tees and greens by members; we ask that this membership and their guests respect the property and maintain distance from both areas.

Ranges and practice greens are open and we ask that members and their guests exercise social distancing.

Today's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies turning to sunny skies for the afternoon, temperatures in the mid 80s, and winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

ALSO:

Beginning tomorrow, we will be using our American Flags as pin flags on the courses.  We will continue the normal rotation of locations but will not have our everyday colored flags in observance of Independence Day.

Thank you,
JA
